A fast-growing, highly-efficient satellite services operator is looking for a hard-working contributory candidate to join us for the position of Admin/Technical Officer. There will be a reasonably overlapping period with our existing staff members performing the below listed duties to ensure smooth hand-over of the contacts and responsibilities. JOB SCOPE:

1) Administrative (estimated to occupy 50% of the time)

Responsible for all general administrative activities include booking of hotels/air-tickets; arrange freight and logistics; administrate insurance claim procedures; petty cash; business registration renewal; filing; printing; postage; stationeries; sundries; etc.
Assist with human resources activities include keeping leave records for all staff; administrate MPF; administrate employee compensation insurance and medical insurance; update of employee personal particulars records; etc.
In the absence of our accounting colleagues, perform emgerency banking/TT.

2) Technical (estimated to occupy another 50% of the time)

assist in RF installations include fabrication and connection of cables;
simple trouble shooting and restoration of services;
maintain spare parts inventory.

REQUIREMENTS:

hard-working and fast-learning;
initiative, positive and self-motivated;
good command of written and spoken English;
prepares to contribute to the growth of the company;
active team player;
can work independently under stress;
experience with working in Stanley Earth Station will be advantageous;
willingness to work in Chung Hom Kok. (There are direct bus and minibus routes to CHK from Sai Ying Pun, Pok Fu Lam, Aberdeen, Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, North Point and Chai Wan.)
